CINet Website
UI/UX design and project management for the CINet (Creative Industries Network) platform, a European transnational entrepreneurship and educational consortium supported by the European Commission, Universidade Aberta, and UOC.
1. Transnational European Creative Entrepreneurship
The CINet (Creative Industries Network) was a multi-institution European initiative supported by the European Commission, created in partnership between Universidade Aberta (Portugal), Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC, Spain), Cascais Invest, and municipal incubator DNA Cascais. The mission was to cultivate business competence, foster technology transfer, and support cross-border venture creation within creative industries (design, audiovisual, gaming, digital media).
Tripartite Mission: Competence, Knowledge & Entrepreneurship
The portal's visual architecture was built around three foundational pillars: "Develop Competences" (e-learning and training modules), "Spread Knowledge" (open-access research papers and policy briefs), and "Foster Creative Entrepreneurship" (business acceleration and mentoring).
2. Platform Structure & Educational Repository
The site served as an academic repository and transnational networking hub:
- Academic Publication Archive ("Newsletters and Publications"): Downloadable research papers, creative economy benchmarking reports, and multilingual policy recommendations funded under European innovation grants.
- Consortium Partner Directory ("Partners"): Profiling participating universities, municipal agencies, and European creative clusters with direct institutional links.
- Workshop & Masterclass Agenda ("Agenda"): Scheduling transnational training seminars, pitch competitions, and creative industry webinars between Lisbon, Barcelona, and Brussels.
- Multilingual Accessibility: Clean, internationalized typography and high-contrast accessibility compliant with European Commission digital dissemination standards.
3. Project Management & Transnational Alignment
Coordinated between university researchers, municipal project managers, and front-end developers at Transglobal, delivering an authoritative digital home that satisfied stringent European Commission visibility requirements.
